March 2nd Minnesota Honor Society went to Lake Calhoun to participate in the Polar Plunge after raising over $600.00 for Minnesota Special Olympics. The 6th grade got to enjoy the beautiful Minnesota snowfall! YME students visited MN West on College & Career Day! Mrs. Pratt's Advisory with the money we raised to send to Dickinson High School in Dickinson Texas to aide relief efforts in their community as they recover from Hurricane Harvey. Dear Yellow Medicine East Middle/High School student,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to YOUR school. It is my hope that your experience here will be a positive one. It is my belief that by maximizing your involvement in our school's educational programs and activities, you will make your time with us productive and fulfilling. We will do all that we can to make this time a positive one that you can reflect on for many years to come.

YME Middle/High School houses grades 6 through 12 with approximately 400 students. The average class size is 26.  Our school offers you a wide range of programs and opportunities in both scholastic and extracurricular areas. Take this opportunity to experience, learn and enjoy as many of our offerings as possible. I encourage you to push yourself and see what you really can do.
