YME Facilities Information

Yellow Medicine East School District has been actively working to address the significant challenges posed by its aging school buildings, which are impacting student learning. Over the past year, district staff, school leaders, and community members have carefully reviewed the condition of current facilities through a multi-step process that included public meetings, a focus group phase, and a community-wide survey. Based on these efforts, the YME School Board has voted to move forward with a facilities plan and is asking voters to consider a referendum on August 12, with early voting beginning June 27.
